Mangal dosha is said to be present when Mars sits in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th house. Families count those houses from different starting points, so all three are checked and shown.
About this page
What this page tells you. Whether Mars sits in one of the six houses the tradition calls Mangal dosha, counted from your rising sign, your Moon and your Venus.
How to read it. Enter the birth details. The table shows the house Mars falls in from each starting point and whether that house counts.
Good to know: Many traditions cancel or soften the dosha (for example by Mars's sign or age at marriage) and they do not agree on how; this page does not apply any cancellation. Treat it as one input, not a verdict.
