Indian astrology measures positions from the stars, so every chart subtracts an ayanamsa from the Western zodiac. Lahiri is India's official ayanamsa and the one this site uses; followers of B. V. Raman, of KP and of Sri Yukteshwar subtract slightly less. Enter your birth details to see whether that changes anything in your chart.
About this page
What this page tells you. Your lagna and the nine grahas under four ayanamsas, every sign or nakshatra that changes between them, and how far your dasha dates move.
How to read it. Enter the birth details. What changes is listed first; the table below gives every position under each ayanamsa, with the moved ones marked.
Good to know: The four differ by at most about one and a half degrees, so a sign or nakshatra changes only when a planet or the lagna sits near an edge. A birth time about six minutes off moves the lagna as much, on average.
